A Super Star in Henri!
A big well done to Henri this week who has been a nursery super star!
He has sat beautifully for phonics and number groups, showing the teachers he can be a good learner. He went to tell the Headteacher, Mr Huthart, how well he has tried and as a reward he gave him not just one present but two!
Keep up the great work Henri
A Surprise Visit from the Ambulance!
We had a very eventful afternoon at nursery yesterday.............Amber bumped her head in the garden and the paramedics came to school to make her head better. After they had cleaned Amber's head the rest of the children in nursery were very lucky and got to look at the ambulance, which was parked in the school car park. The paramedics turned on the siren and the flashing lights, which the children thought was great!
Amber is back at school today, her head is much better and she had a special treat from her mummy and daddy.............a new blue school dress!
Well Done Amber for being a big brave girl, we are proud of you!
Our new topic for the first half of the Summer term is 'Shooting Stars and Racing Rockets'.
The children will learn all about features of space and the wider universe!
Is there life on other planets?
What are the names of the planets?
How many stars are in the sky?
Why does it go dark at night?
We will encourage the children to investigate and discover the answers to all these questions.
