Christingle

On Thursday 13th December children from Parakeet and Penguin classes came together to celebrate Advent. Our children made Christingles and took part in a small service where they shared carols with one another. We learnt that each part of the Christingle has a special meaning and talked about our thoughts on celebrations at Christmas time. We also shared a wish that we hope to come true within the next year.

Maths

In Maths we have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. We thought about names, properties and facts. Today we have played the game 'guess my shape.' One friend had to give three clues and the other friend had to guess which shape they were thinking of. Some of the clues were very tricky.
