Balanced Discussion
In English we have been studying different discussion texts and identifying the feature we found. After that we practiced using these skills ready for us to use these in our own discussion text. We used a variety of powerful adjectives, vocabulary and view points to help us show points for and against the question: Was is right to evacuate?

Non- chronological Reports
WC - 3.1.22
We started our learning this week by exploring a number of texts with the intention of identifying key features of a non-chronological report. We worked in groups to study different texts pointing out similarities and differences to help us identify a well written non-chronological report. With all the key features in mind, we thought carefully about our task over the next two weeks which is to write a non-chronological report about WW1 and thought of subheadings to include in our report. From this, we used them to start our research.
