6.12.21 - DARE Graduation
This week, we rehearsed and performed our DARE Graduation. Take a look at our performance below:
29.11.21 - PSHE
In our PSHE lesson this week, we learnt about stealing and what consent is and why we should always ask for it.


29.11.21 - Karate
There was a festive feeling in our Karate lesson this week. Take a look at us in our fabulous Christmas jumpers:
22.11.21 - DARE
In our DARE session this week, we learnt about non-verbal communication and how this can be used to express emotions. We worked with a partner to use facial expressions and body language to show how others were feeling.


22.11.21 - Science
In our science lesson this week, we created our own curious creatures with a range of characteristics taken from different animal groups. We then had to identify the different characteristics by using our previously learnt classification skills.
15.11.21 - Art
This week, we began to create an abstract city skyline by using mixed media. Next week, we will complete our artwork by adding the buildings.




15.11.21 - PSHE
This week was Anti-Bullying Week. We each designed a t-shirt to promote this year's theme, One Kind Word. Take a look:
8.11.21 - S.M.S.C
This week, we have learnt about the significance of the poppy. We made our own poppies to display in our classroom window!




1.11.21 - Science
This week, we began our new topic: Living Things and their Habitats. We completed a classification grid by grouping different animals based on various categories.




1.11.21 - R.E
To celebrate Diwali this week, we participated in an Indian Dance Workshop with Dance Days London. We combined Bollywood with traditional Indian dance moves to create our own dance piece.
1.11.21 - Geography
This week, we have been learning all about trade, including imports and exports. We used the iPads to research where different products come from and matched these to the correct definitions.



11.10.21 - DARE
In our DARE lesson this week, we met DARE Officer Clarke and discussed how to deal with situations linked to stealing and theft.
4.10.21 - Science
In our science lesson this week, we have been learning how to have a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet and the benefits of taking regular exercise. We made our own TV adverts and performed to the class.
27.9.21 - Science
This week, we took to the MUGA and used drama techniques to learn about the human circulatory system. Take a look at some actions shots from the lesson:



27.9.21 - French
In our French lesson with Madame Walsh, we learnt about Henry VIII and life in Tudor England. We learnt lots of new vocabulary and made connections with our history learning too!
20.9.21 - Science
This week, we learnt how nutrients are transported around our bodies. We worked together to draw diagrams of the human digestive system. Take a look at some pictures from our lesson:


13.9.21 - DARE
This week, we began our DARE sessions with DARE Officer Cath. In our first session, we discussed how to be responsible citizens, as well as the effects drugs and alcohol have on the body. We are already looking forward to our next session.
13.9.21 - Science
This week, we watched Miss Jackson dissect a pig's heart. We learnt about the four chambers of the heart, including the left and right ventricles. We learnt that the left ventricle is bigger because it's purpose is to pump blood around the whole body. The right ventricle is a slimmer and thinner muscle, as it only pumps blood to the lungs so that the blood becomes oxygenated.

In our art lesson, we sketched self-portraits, inspired by Frida Kahlo. Can you recognise anyone?
6.9.21 - Science
This week, we started our new topic, 'Animals including Humans’ and we began learning how to identify the components of blood . Take a look at some of diagrams:
6.9.21 - R.E
In our RE lesson this week, we discussed the meaning of tolerance and we worked together to order different behaviours from the most to least tolerant. We had a good discussion about people’s actions and the impact this may have on others.
6.9.21 - Karate
