13.9.21 - DARE

13.9.21 - Science
This week, we watched Miss Jackson dissect a pig's heart. We learnt about the four chambers of the heart, including the left and right ventricles. We learnt that the left ventricle is bigger because it's purpose is to pump blood around the whole body. The right ventricle is a slimmer and thinner muscle, as it only pumps blood to the lungs so that the blood becomes oxygenated.
