We have lots of exciting activities planned for the Summer Term in Foundation Stage 2.
Summer Term 1 - Our topic will be 'What can we learn from others?' In this topic, we will be learning about different places around the World and the people that live there. We will look at different celebrations that people hold and different beliefs. We will also be learning about how we are all different and unique.
Summer Term 2 - Our topic will be 'What is the last word you want to hear when you are swimming in the sea?' In this topic, we will learn all about the Seaside. We will learn about what things we might find at the seaside, how places have changed over time and animals that live in our seas and oceans.
On Friday we visited the Butterfly House. We had the opportunity to see lots of different animals including some beautiful butterflies. We then had a workshop on feathers, fur and scales and got to meet a tortoise and hear all about how they look after him. Finally, we spent the afternoon playing with the sand and water.
We had lots of fun at the Jubilee party this week, we sung the national anthem and ate lots of tasty food.
This week in Maths we have been playing the number line track game to help us add numbers.
