Week 5
You do not need to complete every activity but we would love for you to share anything you do try.
You could post pictures on Twitter, or share your learning on the class blog.
Children will also have access to a range of books and activities on Bug Club and they can practise their times tables on the TimesTables Rockstars app.
Reading: We encourage your child to read at least three times a week at home. You can access books on Bug Club and answer questions to improve your understanding:

Maths
In maths this week, we finished our unit on 'money'. As part of our learning this week, we completed a range of word problems based around money. Can you solve these problems?
English
In English this week we compared the similarities and differences between Walter Tull and Henry Johnson. We then took part in a debate to determine who deserves to be remembered.
Who do you think deserves to be remembered? Can you write who deserves to be remembered and give reasons for your answers?
Computing
This week in computing we began to learn how to post onto our class blog site. For your homework this week, can you watch a Christmas film and write a review onto our class blog?
Visit our class blog on http://woodpecker2021.norbridgeblogs.net/
For a template to help write the film review, select the 'write' tab at the top of the class blog and then select the 'write a film review'. This will take you to a template for writing a film review where children just need to answer the questions.
