Read through the Powerpoint ‘Choose vocabulary for Impact’. Thinking about ‘What is an imperative verb?’ Imperative verbs usually give instructions; they are ‘bossy’ verbs, that can often be found in a command sentence or at the beginning of a sentence.

Art & Design
Research information about the artist M.C.Escher (1898-1972), he was a Dutch graphic artist who did over 2000 drawings and sketches. He was an artist who was fascinated how certain marks and drawings can give illusion of three-dimensional volume and shapes.
Looking closely at the print out of the charcoal sketched eye, on scrap paper have a go at using the different media methods like, graduating, smudging and different mark making methods.
Then create charcoal drawing of an eye (using a pencil).
