Things to Know

French - Tuesday (am)

Children will have a weekly French lesson with Madame Walsh.

 

Karate - Wednesday (am)

Children will have a weekly Karate session with Sensei Slaney on a Wednesday morning.

 

Music - Friday (am)

Children will have a weekly music lesson with Mr Bellingham and Mr Oakton.

 

PE - Friday (pm)

Children will have a weekly P.E session with Mr Scott on a Friday afternoon. Please ensure your child wears sensible clothing and footwear for school on this day. This includes:

Blue Shorts

White T-Shirt

Plain Blue or Black Joggers and a Hoody for Cold Weather (No Logos)

Trainers

 

Swimming will begin after February half term.  Please ensure your child has the appropriate kit. This includes:

Swimming Costume (One Piece)

Swimming Trunks (No Board Shorts)

Towel

Your child may wear googgles if they wish. All goggle consent forms need returning before the first session.

If your child does not have an inhalor in school they must bring one in a clear plastic bag for swimming.

 

Reading Books: Your child will have access to school library books. Please ensure your child brings their school library book to school every day. Children will have the opportunity to change their library book each week. Reading at home should be logged through your Marvellous Me app so that they can be awarded stickers on our class reading chart. Children should also complete quizzes on Accelerated Reader after finishing a book.

 

Water Bottles: Please bring fresh drinking water every day.

 

Home Learning: Home Learning will be posted on the class webpage each week, as well as being shared on your Marvellous Me app. There will be a list of spellings, along with an activity linked to our learning in class. Children should also be encouraged to read at home, as well as practise their times tables on the TimesTables Rockstars app.
