English:

This week in English we read the story Traction Man by Mini Grey.

We talked about what we liked and disliked about the story and looked for patterns. We noticed that Mini Grey uses a lot of exciting language to tell her stories.

On Friday we created a comic to help us retell the story.

The story ends with Traction man and scrubbing brush relaxing but from the corner of the page we see some mysterious, evil looking scissors creeping towards them......

Can you create a comic to suggest what might happen next?

Are they really ready for anything?

SPAG:

This week we have practised our different sentence types.

We looked at how Mini Grey uses punctuation in her book: Traction Man.

We identified lots of exclamation marks.

Can you add exclamation marks to your comic?

See below for some additional punctuation and exclamation mark practise sheets.
