Week 2
You do not need to complete every activity but we would love for you to share anything you do try.
You could post pictures on Twitter, or share your learning on the class blog.
Children will also have access to a range of books and activities on Bug Club and they can practise their times tables on the TimesTables Rockstars app.
Reading: We encourage your child to read at least three times a week at home. You can access books on Bug Club and answer questions to improve your understanding:

English
Can you use the picture to create a setting description? Try to use your five senses (see, smell, hear, taste and touch) to describe what is happening in the picture.
If you were there, how would you feel?
Maths
This week in maths we have learned how to use columns to add and subtract. Can you use the sheets to practise adding and subtracting with columns?
Science
In science this week we started our new topic of 'animals including humans'. To start of the topic, we examined what animals need to survive.
For this week's homework, can you think of how you could look after a pet. What would you need to give your pet to make sure that it stays happy and healthy?
Draw a picture of your chosen pet and then write a short description of how you will look after it.
History
In history this half term, we are learning all about Remembrance and Walter Tull. As it is Remembrance Sunday this weekend, if you can, watch part of the Remembrance Service at 11 o'clock. Whilst watching, think about how the service is making you feel and why people are acting the way they are at the service.
